I am daily supported by the corporate culture of helping each other in times of trouble and the presence of reliable senior colleagues who can be counted on.
This company offers fair evaluations regardless of age or experience and provides opportunities for everyone.
I work in the general affairs department, in charge of personnel and management planning. Actually, I originally joined the company in a sales position, so my job responsibilities have completely changed. However, one thing that remains constant is that all of my work involves dealing with people, which is a crucial aspect of the job.The first principle of our company's code of conduct is "Integrity." In any job, there are always other people involved, and everything is interconnected. Therefore, I always strive to remember the importance of gratitude towards those around me and make the code of conduct, which should serve as a foundation for myself.
I feel fulfilled when I create a comfortable working environment for employees by being mindful of laws and trends, and when I see employees working with passion. Additionally, our company has a diverse workforce with varying job roles and backgrounds, including administrative and operational staff.Sometimes it can be challenging, but being able to communicate with people in various positions is an environment that is unique and hard to come by. Moving forward, I want to avoid being confined by precedents, proactively undertake various improvements as a back office, and expand my knowledge and skills in the fields of finance and accounting to broaden my horizons. Our company values individuals who are eager to learn, regardless of their youth and lack of experience. I hope that those who resonate with our company's management philosophy and action guidelines will take on the challenge and join us.

I am daily supported by the corporate culture of helping each other in times of trouble and the presence of reliable senior colleagues who can be counted on.
I used to work as a trade assistant at an import trading company before joining Daido. During my daily tasks of procuring goods, I became interested in the entire import process itself and wanted to be more involved in a wider variety of cargo handling trades. So, I took the plunge and applied to Daido. What I felt after joining the company is that the biggest attraction of Daido is its people. I am supported every day by a company culture where we help each other when we are in trouble and where there are senior colleagues who we can consult with easily if anything happens. Not only do I feel grateful for this, but the environment where I always feel that I want to be a valuable asset to these respectable people also motivates me in my work. I am currently responsible for import/export operations and handle the entire process from various arrangements to reaching the final goal, in collaboration with other departments and partner companies, as per the requests received from customers. One thing I keep in mind is that I don't try to tackle difficult issues alone. Senior colleagues have various know-how that I don't have. By sharing solutions, I strive every day to learn the methods myself and output them.

Our company handles a wide range of cases, which has broadened my knowledge and contributed to my personal growth.
I work as a registered customs specialist mainly handling import and export customs clearance procedures. My main responsibilities include preparing declaration documents for customs, applying for and reporting to other relevant authorities such as quarantine stations, and reviewing and declaring customs clearance documents. I often communicate not only through written documents and emails but also through phone calls with customs, quarantine stations, and clients when necessary. The workplace atmosphere is very open and friendly, and we can easily collaborate and consult with each other, even if we encounter work-related problems. We have many opportunities to communicate not only with colleagues in the same department but also with those in different departments, which allows us to consider work from various perspectives. While some cases can be challenging, I feel a sense of accomplishment when I stand between customs and clients, negotiate with customs, and finally receive export and import permits, and when my colleagues and clients express their appreciation. Our company handles a wide variety of cases, which allows us to broaden our knowledge and feel our own growth. Recently, I have become a mentor for a junior colleague, and I hope to continue to work hard for both my own career advancement and to enhance the capabilities of our customs clearance team.

I strive to become salesperson who can empathetically respond to our customers' concerns and work as a team to solve challenges.
I have taken the position in international logistics sales, which I have been aspiring for, after working in import operations and sales administration. I aim to output the knowledge and business processes I have gained through my work, and increase the recognition of our company's services to more customers. The international logistics industry has been in a difficult situation for a long time due to the impact of COVID-19, but it is finally starting to normalize. Ocean freight rates that had skyrocketed are returning to pre-pandemic levels, and vessel schedules are becoming more stable. In such a situation, I want to respond to our customers' requests by utilizing our company's own assets, which is our biggest service tool, and differentiating ourselves from other companies in the industry.
Each customer has different challenges they face, and we work as a team to come up with useful proposals for solving their problems that cannot be solved by one person alone. We will continue to strive for improvement in order to be able to provide valuable solutions to our customers.

The working environment is one where we can work happily while cooperating with each other, and it also allows for a fulfilling private life.
I am engaged in accounting and some general affairs duties within the General Affairs Department. In accounting, I mainly handle payments, deposits, expense reimbursements, petty cash management, fixed asset management, and other tasks. As accounting errors can directly affect the company's financial figures, I carefully handle each task with attention to detail. In general affairs, I work to quickly arrange requested items such as supplies and business cards, in order to support the smooth functioning of the workplace. Regardless of the task, I believe it's important to not leave any doubts unresolved, and I always consult with my superiors or colleagues before taking action to ensure clarity. The headquarters where I work is located in a beautiful area with a traditional atmosphere and a calm and quiet environment in Yokohama. The workplace has a cooperative and friendly atmosphere among employees, making it easy to work in a homey atmosphere. Additionally, it is a work environment where work-life balance can be achieved, allowing me to enjoy a fulfilling daily life outside of work.
